Default New british indie film ??

Does anyone know or has any info about this new british film called 'Glamour Dolls' ? Some of my colleagues were talking about it the other day and it sounded very promising.

Aparently is underground, low budget, indie but it seems to be really cool.

Any news, info?

Cheers.

Default Russia

I'm doing a russian themed party, furry hats and russian roulette (with a nerf gun) and lots of vodka!
I'm trying to think of russian themed films but all I can come up with is Raw Deal, any ideas anyone?

I really enjoyed this film, and I know its based on a true-story (obviously) and the plot/premise was fantasic for me personally. As I love watching all things relating to con-men, and people who intelligently pose as people their not in order to con/trick people - I just like it

So what I am after is any reccomendations to vaguely similiar films that I might enjoy with the same premise - con-men etc

Any ideas? Thanks in advance
One of the best con artist films i've seen is Nine Queens, an Argentinian film from 2000. It was remade in the US as Criminal in 2004 with John C Reilly, Diego Luna and Maggie Gyllenhaal - also worth a watch.

Others you might enjoy are Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Comedy), The Sting (comedy drama), Before The Devil Knows You're Dead (drama).

Default Wolverine connections

I'm sure this was done last summer when Origins came out but I wasn't a member back then!
I'm re-watching the old x-men films and can't find a reason why Creed/Sabertooth doesn't know or recognise who Wolverine is as he didn't loose his memory in Origins.
If anyone can fill the gap for me it'd be much appreciated.

Default Hollywood remakes

A bit of a specialist question, but can anyone think of any European films set specifically in a European city that have been remade by Hollywood where the location has been kept the same? (i.e. 'Wings of Desire' / 'City of Angels' wouldn't count because the setting isn't kept as Berlin.)

Thanks

I haven't seen the remake, but perhaps 'The Italian Job'?

Did you like the original Halloween? Here's a question. Does Beverly Hills Cop 3 have any redeeming features at all? It's on Sky Action HD just now and for some reason I started watching it.
