Sorry, guys! There's not a lot the TF guys can do about the ads. The ads just have to run their course...

[Personally I think the Forum should be completely ad-free to allow more space for writing but, hey, that's just me!]

I don't mind a bit of advertising, its what brings in the bread and butter but for the Total film elite to allow pop ups to ruin the forumites enjoyment is just ludicrous. Yes they have to run there course but don't have them splashing themselves all over the place while we are trying to log in or post. The marketing bigwigs obviously sell them like this otherwise they wouldn't ruin our enjoyment. Its not big and its not clever.

Not that it will do much good, but I FUCKING HATE these ads too. Just had to vent.

And yes, reading a feature on the few moments I get to spend on here in between working, only to have it grind to a halt due to the adverts sucks balls!

Having said that, the adverts on www.sherdog.com are even worserer!

Right, who's fucking bright idea was it to put the X Men Destiny pop up in front of the top menu bar? I have had to click on film news first to get rid of it and quickly click on forum before the ad pops up an stays there blocking off most of the menu. Will you lot ever learn?
