i'm a 29 year old woman from nottingham ands I buy Total Fim, Empire and DVD/BluRay Review nearly every single month, i buy 'gossip' magazines and 'girlie' magazines (i.e. cosmo, glamour, vogue etc.) about twice a year and the only reason i do that is because i spend my money recklessley and when i'm bored i like to buy magazines, i usually have the movie and dvd magazines i want so i buy, in my eyes, rubbish when i have nothing else to read.
I'm not interested in Big Brother, I'm a Celebrity; please try to kill me in interesting ways and feed me thing that no-one would eat if they weren't getting paid for it, or any of those programmes, i like movies and am passionate about the films i love and ones that i will love. Am i the only woman who thinks this?? |

I read film mags!
Have done since I was 15. I am female and 23 years old. And I like violent, nasty horror films. But nothing with rabbits in. I'm scared of rabbits. And I hate reality tv. Apart from Come Dine with me because the narrator is very funny. And Coach Trip. Because it's like an anhesthetic on my brain after work. There's no such thing as a boy film or a girl film. Depends what you're into. My other half loves Mean Girls and Legally Blonde. I love anything with people getting tortured in hideous ways. However, it doesn't really help us women want to buy a film mag if half of it is Kelly Brook in a bikini. No interest here I'm afraid. Give me Clint Eastwood any day. ![]() |

I would never let my other half see those films. I would rather castrate him than be dragged to see those. |

I'm 24 years old and female and I'm passionate about film! I know other girls who would regard themselves as film fans but I'm pretty sure none of them would actually purchase a film magazine. Having said that, none of my female friends would watch any crappy rom-com 'chick flicks'.

I'm a 20 year old female and I read film magizines. I used to get SFX, Total Film, Empire and Sci-fi now every month. I had to stop becouse I'm going to university but I still like looking at them in the supermarkets. I don't like girlie magizines at all, I think they get a negitive message to girls. I don't watch chickflick, they make me cringe. I prefer horror and fantasy. I don't watch girlie tv shows, like Gossip Girl or The Hills. I prefer horror or fantasy like Supernatural, Lost and Heroes

I am pleased to say there seems to be a rather nice influx of girlies on this forum lately.
