
Adam Sandler's second film, before he hit paydirt with The Wedding Singer and The Waterboy, sees him portray Happy Gilmore, a would-be hockey player who turns pro golfer to save his Grandma's house from repossession. The story centres on how Happy rattles the game of golf with his `crazy' antics, that is, swearing at and punching spectators and, er, wearing a hockey shirt.
