A low-key Michael Bay production?
That’s the only revelation in this ploddingly grim Se7en copycat, which has widower cop Dennis Quaid oh-so-slowly closing in on a Bible-inspired kill-cult.
Gore-wise, one foetus-in-a-sandwich-bag shot aside, it’s sub-Saw sadism all the way.
