The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence leaves the bow and arrow in the woods for dark thriller The House At The End Of The Street.
Directed by Mark Tonderai, the British filmmaker responsible for nail-biting road movie Hush, it follows teenager Elissa (Lawrence), who moves to a new town with her mother (Elizabeth Shue).
There, she befriends neighbour Ryan (Max Thieriot). But it’s not long before she discovers he’s harbouring a dangerous secret about his disturbing past.
Nominated for a Best Sound Editing award by the Directors Guild of Canada, House At The End Of The Street looks like a nerve-shredding horror-thriller with another phenomenal performance from Lawrence.
The film’s official trailer certainly gave us chills, and we can’t wait to see what surprises Tonderai has in store.
The House At The End Of The Street opens in cinemas on 21 September 2012, and Lawrence can next be seen in Hunger Games: Catching Fire and X-Men: Days Of Future Past.
