Another in a long line of Tommy Lee Jones cops sees him investigating the possible ties between a 40-year-old missing person cold case and the murder of a young prostitute. Jones is in fine form, but a strong cast and swampy Deep South atmosphere hardly compensate for the turgid plot and sloppy direction.
