Lala Pipo comes on like a garish celebration of perversity, but makes its red-light district characters look stupid, grubby and desperate. Bad-taste jokes die after the initial shock and the broad, nasty action is unsexy. A portmanteau structure throws out a few okay twists, but it’s still a sad, grotty mess.
