Looper review

Film description

Looper is a time-travel movie brought to you buy the guy who helmed The Brothers Bloom and Brick, director Rian Johnson.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as a hitman who assassinates victims sent back in time from the future. His world looks set to explode when his latest target is the older version of himself (Bruce Willis).

Johnson has warned anyone keen on seeing the film to avoid all the trailers, as while they’re not too spoilerific, they might give away tiny secrets that are best left for the cinema.

Undecided? Don’t depair, we’ll be reporting on all of the Looper trailers and any cool posters, as it’s sure to be one of the most mind-blowing sci-fi flicks of the year.

Emily Blunt called it “the coolest movie I’ve ever been a part of”. And JG-L and Johnson told us how Christopher Nolan has made intelligent blockbusters a genuine proposition.

Looper had a panel at Comic-Con 2012, with Johnson, Gordon-Levitt and Blunt all in attendance.
