Manhattan Baby2

Just your everyday tale of Egyptian tombs, blinded hags, snakes, scorpions, possessed children and cursed amulets. Well, everyday if you’re Lucio Fulci, the Italian director responsible for both buckets of dross and eye-opening genre classics Zombie Flesh Eaters and The Beyond. This Baby ransacks every graveyard flick going and leaves anything resembling coherent plotting in the earth. Mad, maddening and rather monotonous, it’s also intermittently magnificent – a primary-hued fever-dream remix of The Exorcist, The Awakening and Hitch’s The Birds.
