Take a flick through Michelle Pfeiffer's impressive back catalogue and you'll find little to laugh at. Thankfully, there's always this overlooked Jonathan Demme comedy to lighten the load. Fast-paced, agreeably frothy and with a cast to die for (Oliver Platt, Joan Cusack, Alec Baldwin), it sees Pfeiffer playing a big-haired wiseguy widow who splits Mobsville with son in tow to make a fresh start.
