From Bourne to Bond?

Bourne Identity director Doug Liman has been exclusively chatting to Rotten Tomatoes - revealing that he has always wanted to direct a Bond flick.
In fact, he took on the Bourne franchise when he found his efforts to direct James thwarted. An irony that isn't lost on him: "It really is surreal that all I was trying do to was direct a James Bond film and I ended up changing the James Bond franchise. That being said, I'd still love to direct a James Bond film."
