And Rodriguez confirms he’s co-directing…

The status of their relationship might be tabloid and gossip site fodder right now, but it appears that Robert Rodriguez and Rose McGowan are still 100% committed to one thing: making a new version of Red Sonja.
Rodriguez introduced a poster for the film at Comic Con yesterday (which you can see below) and let plenty of information about the movie, as reported by Cinematical. Apparently, he’s not only producing Sonja, he’s actually co-directing the film, though with DGA rules stipulating that only DGA-accredited helmer Douglas Aarniokoski can actually claim credit on the final film. Ah, film rules… Rodriguez also revealed that it’ll be darker, and that he’s also planning to get the full barbarian set by pitching his own take on a Conan film. Hit the link for more.
