Never Say Never Again2

An underwhelming remake of Thunderball, which, thanks to a legal loophole, returned Sean Connery - - unofficially - - to the role of 007. The slick production values impress and Barbara Carrera and Klaus Maria Brandauer are good value villains, but Irvin Kershner appears to have nodded off in the director's chair. Maybe he was just trying to avoid the sight of Connery tonguing a young Kim Basinger. Yeuch!
