If the unrated trailer for The Informers is to be believed, Amber Heard spends most of her screentime in the buff.

This is brilliant news for those of us who remember her from Pineapple Express and All The Boys Love Mandy Lane.

Fans of the original Bret Easton Ellis novel won’t be quite as happy, however. The trailer shows no evidence of the vampires and ghouls that made the LA satire so special.

No more vampires

That’s because they don’t exist in the movie version of the novel, despite Brandon Routh being cast and filmed in the role of head vamp, Jamie.

Actor John Graham, who is in the trailer, said of the undead situation: “There are no more vampires. They took the vampires out. There are no zombies or monsters either.

“This is more about the narcissistic side of people’s characters. God knows why they took the vampire characters out. I can’t say if I was pleased or displeased, that is just the way it is.”

Which annoys us, because we like vampires and zombies. But we like naked Amber Heard even more. Check the gallery to your right to find out why!
