Gangland crime pic gathers cast

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has joined the cast of Alex de Rakoff’s London-set indie crime pic Dead Man Running.

The film, which started shooting yesterday, already features Layer Cake’s Tamer Hassan, Adulthood’s Danny Dyer, Brenda Blethyn and Monet Mazur, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Jackson will play a nasty loan shark in the film, which finds an ex-con trying to nab £100,000 to pay him off.

And the movie has some interesting backing – Ashley Cole and Rio Ferdinand are behind it. Which means it’ll be even more violent than we expect.
