Horror Apollo 18 gets another new trailer

Doesn’t really tell us anything new

apollo 18

A new trailer for found-footage space chiller Apollo 18 has been released online.

We say ‘new’, but that might be too strong a word for it, with this trailer basically recycling stuff we were already shown in the film’s first teaser.

The brainchild of Wanted director Timur Bekmambetov (here producing), Apollo 18 suggests that NASA launched a secret mission to the moon that went horribly wrong.

Though the found-footage craze seems to be dwindling, if Apollo 18’s a success, expect more of the same to come your way.

At the moment, that’s a very big ‘if’, because Apollo 18 doesn’t seem to give us anything new.

Check out the trailer below...

Apollo 18 opens 2 September 2011.

I think this has potential to be pretty good. Like how the trailer is put together, feels very claustrophobic. Looking forward to it.
