Aaron Eckhart goes Travelling

Mourning has broken for one widower

Since Thank You For Smoking helped give his career a much-needed boost, Aaron Eckhart has been able to get choosier about the big films he makes (such as Batman sequel The Dark Knight) while still balancing them with quirkier, smaller fare.

He's just signed on to Universal’s drama Travelling, which finds him playing a widower striking success after writing a book about his grief. But when the charismatic self-help guru heads out on the road, he falls for a woman on a seminar, only to discover that – gawsh! – maybe he isn’t over his wife at all…

Co-writer Brandon Camp is taking his first step behind the megaphone to shoot the script he penned with regular collaborator Mike Thompson. But given their star’s busy schedule, production won’t kick off until early next year.

Hint: The film starred Michael J Fox as accidental time traveller Marty McFly.
