Adam Sandler starring in Jack And Jill

He's playing Jack. And, er, Jill…

Looks like Adam Sandler has found his next high concept comedy - he's working on Jack And Jill.

We're not sure how closely it's based on the nursery rhyme about the twins going up the hill (hopefully it'll have a meatier plot that one of the characters falling down), but it'll be a romantic comedy.

And Sandler's planning to play both main characters…

Steve Koren, a former Saturday Night Live writer who used to work with Sandler back in the day, is in charge of the script.

There's no word on a director yet, but Sony wants the film shooting early next year for a release in 2011…
