Adrien Brody jumps into Giallo

He’s replacing Vincent Gallo in Dario Argento’s latest

After losing one leading man (Vincent Gallo) thanks to a bad relationship past between Gallo and his daughter Asia, Dario Argento has been scouting around for a new leading man for his latest thriller, Giallo.

Now he’s found one in the shape of Adrien Brody, who will star alongside Emmanuelle Seigner and Elsa Pataky in the tale of a US flight attendant who goes hunting for her system. Poor old sis has been kidnapped by a serial killer with the unusual moniker of “yellow” (or Giallo in Italian. See what they did there?)

Crossed fingers it restores Argento to the height of his filmmaking powers after the vaguely disappointing Mother Of Tears. The Hollywood Reporter is chasing down the story.
