The first trailer for Superbad director Greg Mottola’s new pic, Adventureland, has gone up, and you can see it here.
Adventureland, partly based on Mottola’s own life experiences, follows college graduate Jesse Eisenberg forced to take a summer job at a low-rent amusement park to help fund his travels.
The pic co-stars Twilight’s Kristen Stewart, Ryan Reynolds, Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig and – in a bonus for Freaks & Geeks-loving Apatow fans – Martin Starr.
It looks like a solid comedy (Hader is particularly good) and we’re sure Mottola will be glad to be promoting a comedy where everyone isn’t asking how much Judd Apatow had to do with it.
