Affleck has The Blade Itself
Ben’s producing and possibly directing the drama

After making a splash as a director/producer/writer with Gone Baby Gone, Ben Affleck is looking to keep his career rejuvenation going by signing on to produce The Blade Itself, based on Marcus Sakey’s novel.
Gone co-writer Aaron Stockard is at work on the script, which will track two childhood friends in Chicago who forged a reputation as petty criminals and must face tough choices and tougher secrets as adults.
While Affleck hasn’t committed to directing the movie, you’ve got to figure he’ll consider making this his Gone follow-up.
