Well, that was easy: days after losing original star Ellen Page to scheduling problems, Sam Raimi’s Drag Me To Hell has snapped up a replacement.
Alison Lohman, last seen in Big Fish and animated in Beowulf, will take the lead as a woman who realises she’s the victim of a terrible demonic curse. There’s no full plot description yet, but we’re guessing the script- written by Raimi and regular collaborator (and brother) Ivan – will feature something nasty, evil and possibly dead.
It kicks of shooting at the end of the month and Variety’s got you covered.
