Amy Adams’ Lois Lane joins Henry Cavill’s Superman on the cover of Total Film magazine issue 205.
The film looks set to mount an epic reboot of the comic-book mythos, by putting the iconic hero into a real-world setting, in an attempt to make the indestructible alien more relatable and human.
Inside the issue (which is available for just £1.99 on your iPad), you can read our extensive coverage of superhero epic Man Of Steel, including our chat with Lois herself, Amy Adams.
Here’s a sneak peek at what she had to say…
What did you most want to convey with your version of Lois?
“I wanted her to be a woman other women could relate to. And not be sort of a pest. Lois can be kind of omnipresent, turning up at very inconvenient times - which she does! - but you understand her reasons.”
You’ve been in the running before…
“When J.J. Abrams and Brett Ratner were planning a version, I actually did a screen test with Matt Bomer. And then when Superman Returns came round I read again. So this was my third go at it.”
Man Of Steel opens in the UK on 14 June 2013.
