Anchorman Ron Burgundy set to release his memoirs

Book due ahead of Anchorman: The Legend Continues

As if Anchorman Ron Burgundy's ego wasn't inflamed enough, the Action 4 News anchor now has his own autobiography - in which he'll no doubt brag about his Emmys and name-drop like nobody's business.

Let Me Off At The Top!: My Classy Life And Other Musings is being published on 19 November 2013, almost a month to the day before Burgundy's second movie, Anchorman: The Legend Continues, hits screens.

“I don’t know if it’s the greatest autobiography ever written. I’m too close to the work,” Burgundy said in a statement. “I will tell you this much: the first time I sat down and read this thing... I cried like a goddamn baby, and you can take that to the bank!”

Clearly having been inspired by Alan Partridge's own recent paperback success story, Burgundy's memoirs will reportedly include "personal anecdotes about the women in his life, about his dog, Baxter, and his legendary news team".

As if that wasn't enough, he'll also reveal just why he went into news reporting in the first place.

We spy a 'failed jazz flute career' sob story on the horizon...

Anchorman: The Legend Continues opens on 20 December 2013.

"Clearly having been inspired by Alan Partridge's own recent paperback success story" Clearly a bit patriotic here TF... Will Ferrell probably doesn't even know Coogan and even less Partridge...

Except for the fact they've been in at least one film together.

Ok, fair enough, but doesn't mean that Will Ferrell is getting inspired by him... I don't think he needs Coogan for inspiration.

and Partridge is in about 5 articles in the last days from TF... clearly a bit of patriotism, because the guy is not that funny (well, that's my opinion anyway)... and 5 articles is kind of being force fed that guy.

Will Ferrell has got to do an audiobook version. I think it would be a lot funnier to hear Ron Burgundy narrate his memoirs than us read about them. Alan Partridge did it so should Ron Burgundy!
