Race To Witch Mountain director’s next job

Andy Fickman must have a hell of a publicist – it seems like every week a story arrives about the Witch Mountain helmer’s next job.

Now it looks like he’s zeroed in on what that will be, after mulling lots of different movies – Disney’s comedy You Again.

It follows a woman whose brother is planning to marry the girl who made her life a living hell in high school days. She hatches an idea to make sure he knows his possible wife’s true colours.

With a script by Moe Jelline, Fickman aims to be behind the camera by late summer for a 2010 release, just as soon as he locks in the main female leads.

Meanwhile, the rest of the movies he’s attached to, including comic book pic Monster Attack Network and young adult book adaptation Gimme A Call, will have to wait in development limbo for his next available slot.
