After seeing their careers given no end of help by ace music doc Anvil: The Story Of Anvil, the metallers have come back with a new album.
The new release, This Is Thirteen is, no surprise, their 13th record.
And the lads are more than willing to admit that the documentary worked wonders for their music.
''The movie basically saved our career," frontman Steve "Lips" Kudlow tells Music Radar. People know who we are now. They know our history. They know we sacrificed everything for our music. And they know we were one of the originators of hard, powerful metal - music that influenced so many bands."
So on the back of the film's DVD release, Anvil are pushing their new disc. ""This is our first real moment in the sun," says drummer Robb Reiner, "and it's not going to be our last. We have the kind of record to see to that."
If you liked the doc, you can grab their album right now from all good music stores…
