Apollo 18 poster unveiled

Found footage film teaser

Apollo 18

Two footprints – one human, one something else – meet in moon dust on the enigmatic poster for new found footage film Apollo 18.

Though it’s due out Stateside as early as March 2011, next to nothing plotwise is known about the movie.

What we do know is that it’s based around a secret mission to the moon that ends with humans coming in contact with aliens. Considering it’s all reportedly relayed to us as found footage, we can guess the encounter doesn’t go well.

Wanted and Night Watch director Timur Bekmambetov is producing, while Spanish director Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego is behind the camera.

Check out the poster below…

Someone had to say it. We have been back to the moon.

errr maybe it was broadcast back and the government kept it secret, or we have been to the moon more times than they let on, who knows. Maybe watch the film first then judge it. But i don't think this will be "another alien invasion movie", more of a horror in space. As the title suggests, it will most probably take place on the space rocket of the same name, Apollo 18 and the moon and the crew will bump into some nasty creatures, or maybe not. Looks interesting though, not a bad poster!

Having read a little I'm guessing the tagline means that theres a reason why we've never been back to the moon since the last time. We've been there more than once so the word 'never' seems a bit misleading. Anyway, poster is intriguing and hopefully the film will be just as enticing.
