It’s a cinematic meeting of, er, minds that we’ve been waiting years to see: Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone properly united on screen.
Okay, it's not quite De Niro/Pacino in heat, but it is for an action movie, which makes it worth anticipating.
Yes, according to Ain’t It Cool News’ highly placed “source” (we’re thinking it rhymes with Schmylvester Schmallone), Arnold will shoot a one-day cameo as himself for Sly’s latest, The Expendables.
The film, which sees a group of mercenaries sent to South America on a near-suicide mission to off a dictator.

Sly leads a team that includes Jet Li, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture and his character, Barney Ross apparently has a history with the Austrian Oak that dates back to Conan The Barbarian.
Oh, and Sly confirmed two pieces of casting info: Mickey Rourke is officially on board and Sr Ben of Kingsley has had to drop out of the role of CIA slime ball Monroe, with Eric Roberts taking his place.
Sounds like fun – now Stallone has to finish whipping the script into shape ready to start shooting in a month’s time.

I think that's hitting believability right on the nose - only Arnie would think to send a bunch of hollywood action stars on a mission to off a dictator.
