If you enjoyed the rap stylings of DJay in Hustle & Flow, and wondered what happened to the rapper after the credits rolled, you might just get your answer.
According to DJay himself – AKA actor Terrence Howard – there are already plans underway for a sequel. “We’re going to do it,” he told MTV. “We start filming at the end of next year.” The DJay delay is to accommodate Howard’s schedule, which has exploded since the first Flow proved to be a breakout. He’ll next be seen stealing scenes in Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ alongside 50 Cent.
There’s no word on whether Hustle director Craig Brewer will be calling the shots, but according to Howard, the script’s written and the entire cast will return.
