Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice Comic-Con teaser won't be released online

Bat why?

For those of us who weren't lucky enough to go to Comic-Con this year, we're afraid we have some more bad news.

You know that Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice clip that had Hall H heroes hyperventilating with hype? It won't be released officially online, which makes our eyes glow red with tears of disappointment.

That's according to Sue Kroll, Warner Bros. president worldwide marketing and international distribution.

Asked about the clip, Kroll said: “That’s just going to live in that hall. We’ll post extended trailers and stills, but that presentation, that was just for those fans."

Let's hope WB have a change of heart, or that they release a proper trailer soon, because suddenly Dawn Of Justice's 29 April 2016 release date feels like a Kryptonian's lifespan away.

What an excellent idea. Lets not provide the fans who are interested in our film and who are going to pay money to see it thus contributing to further projects and keeping interest in the franchise anything whatsoever. Spiteful cunts, pull your head out of your a**e.

Man Of Steel was so c**p this is never gonna live up to the The Dark Knight Trilogy Nolan created. Its too soon to introduce a new batman story. WB should have plannned this whole thing better while that triolgy was still going around 2009/10 and got rid of Snyder after MOS he ruined 2 years of hype in the first 2 minutes this is only going to get worse . Someone needs to stop the Snyder's and Bay's of this world making movies.

Wow Andy. I love the way the C word wasn't censored yet a lesser word was. Strong work. And agree totally.

And now you know why the Marvel films are doing much better. Idiotic decisions like this one.

I think by the time this comes out in 2016 everyone is going to have had enough of it. Does anybody out there have any love for DC anymore? TDKR lost a third of its support due to its stupidity (the other third pointlessly defend it's stupidity and other third went along for the ride ), and MOS lost a hell of a lot of fans. it is time Warner's and DC showed a bit more respect to it's fans and stopped treating them badly through crazy casting and a media build up to release that is just plain ridiculous. So many negative comments about this film already and I don't think it is just trolling. DC has got to be easier to get right than Marvel, yet Warner's keeps alienating the fans with stupid decision.

The problem is that DC only has 2 very saleable characters, Batman and Superman. The die-hard fans know a lot of the others but the general cinema going public don't to a degree. The reason for the backlash on this are because of casting (Affleck, Gadot, Eissenberg) not because nobody wants to see Bats and Supes tear it up. I am looking forward to this, I think Affleck will do fine and fanboys don't always know best for casting. Look at when Marvel were casting Thor, a lot of people wanted the wrestler Triple H because apparently make-up departments are less important than actual acting skills. Have a little faith, if this is rubbish when it comes out then fair enough but at least give it the next 22 months before making your mind up.

Kroll, KROLL! That is far to close to the 80s crapfest of a film that was Krull* (Bernard Bresslaw as a Cyclops, hello!!) Mark my words, this film is doomed! *Cue a plethora of comments saying it's a cult classic and that Lysette Anthony was 'schwing' or words to that effect!

I don't know why everyone is up in arms about this, footage shown at comic con rarely is released to the public. And for the person claiming that this decision is why Marvel is so successful seems to be forgetting that they aren't releasing the Age of Ultron footage that was shown either.

Whats going to have the bigger box office Age of Ultron or Batman Vs Superman? Back in 2012 I would have said TDKR would have demolished The Avengers at the box office but that did not happen. A reinvention of Superman could not beat Iron Man 3 there has to be something not right there. I have no particularly love for Marvel but I get the general impression DC has lost a lot of ground. They also need to stop Gal Gadot tweeting, unbelievably stupid comments the other day.
