He’s still busy putting the finishing touches to what could be one of the comedies of the year (Tropic Thunder), but that isn’t stopping Ben Stiller from loading up his script plate like a hungry guest at an all-you-can-develop buffet.
DreamWorks has nabbed the rights to Oni Press’ upcoming graphic novel The Return Of King Doug for Stiller to produce and likely star in. It’s the tale of a regular bloke who has to come back to the fantasy world he left behind 30 years ago. We’re thinking The Neverending Story, but with better jokes and an actual ending.
