Tony Gilroy is clearly not sitting on his Oscar-nominated laurels. He’s already busy working on a new thriller, set in the drug manufacturing world (the legal – well, mostly – side, anyway), and has recruited not only one of the stars who helped pushed Michael Clayton to success but also a man with an Oscar under his own belt.
Yes, he’s hired Billy Bob Thornton and Tom Wilkinson to play rival pharmaceutical chiefs who send corporate spies Julia Roberts and Clive Owen out to steal each other’s company secrets. Sounds Oscar-tastic to us… Variety can fill your news prescription.
