Not only is Michael Mann still busy working on John Dillinger drama Public Enemies, but he’s also still adding cast members.
Billy Crudup is the latest to sign on, playing FBI chief (and allegedly infamous cross-dresser) J Edgar Hoover in the story of Dillinger (Johnny Depp) and the dedicated crime team (led by Christian Bale) who sought to shut him down.
And it’s not just Crudup jumping aboard. Mann regular Stephen Lang will play Winstead, the leader of the Texas Rangers who helps in the Dillinger Manhunt. Variety is taking names and details.
