Bond 23 takes passage to India

Delhi location confirmed

Bond 23 will continue the film franchise's love affair with location shoots by heading to Delhi in India.

Shooting at Sarojini Nagar Market, Daryaganj street and Ansari Road in the capital has been approved by the country's information and broadcasting ministry.

The shoot was signed off under the working title Bond 23, so still no sign of an official film name yet.

While even less has been released about the plot than about the name at this point, we can tell you that Daniel Craig and Judi Dench return, with Ralph Fiennes, Naomi Harris and Javier Bardem also on board.

Bond previously stopped off in India to raise an eyebrow during the Roger Moore film Octopussy

The Dark Knight Rises also recently filmed in the country, shooting in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

What should Bond 23 be called? With the Indian location decided could it be A Vindaloo To A Kill? And what other locations would you like to see the secret agent visit? Give us your thoughts below!

This all sounds great. I'm surprised Bond hasn't made it to Australia by now. Sydney would be a superb Bond location.

Perhaps the memory of George Lazenby is still too painful!

Movie locations are picked for a number of reasons, which can include anything from tax breaks for filming in certain countries, plot points, tourism board product placement deals, and a number of other factors.
