Sad news today from Los Angeles as actor Brad Renfro, last seen alongside Adrien Brody and Keira Knightley in The Jacket was found dead at his home in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Renfro, who was 25, originally shot to fame when Joel Schumacher picked him to play a child in The Client at the age of 10. He followed that up with roles in Apt Pupil and Ghost World. But while he had just completed work on The Informers with Winona Ryder, his recent years had been troubled by drug arrests and rehab stints. The cause of his death isn’t yet known.
