Bruce Willis talks Die Hard 5

Could shoot next year...

Bruce Willis met up with MTV Movies Blog to talk Cop Out recently, and ended up spilling the beans on Die Hard 5.

Willis made the suprise announcement: "I think we're going to do a 'Die Hard 5' next year."

Apparently very chuffed with the job Len Wiseman did at the helm of Live Free or Die Hard, Willis added "I'd hire Len Wiseman right now."

When asked where the series could go, he suggested "Well it's got to go worldwide... That would be my contribution."

Could be an interesting twist for The Adventures of John McClane, and would provide the scope for Bond-style adventures.

But isn't McClane at his best tackling baddies in enclosed spaces? We'll keep our eyes peeled for more updates on this one.

Are you with Bruce on this one? Or would you put McClane in a retirement home? Your thoughts please!

Great. Are they going to aim for PG with this one or just stick with the edgier PG13?

Yeah. Just let him rest. Like I actually loved the 4th movie but the 5th one would be going too far.

McClane is Willis's best character. I think it would be quite cool to have DH5 but the story has to be right. [Link removed. Please don't spam your own site/blog].

no no no international capers. you can't take his character out of context, it would turn into a parody. DH3 was good in that it kept it on street level. man that dude is old tho

If they're going to push things as far as 5 at least make it a passing of the torch, have McClane die heroically and let his son/young protege nail the bad guys that did it. Cheesy sounding, sure but no worse than watching Willis hobble around on a zimmer frame croaking out "Yippee-ki-ay, motherf***ers"
