Sacha Baron Cohen has been up to his old, Borat/Ali G-style tricks, but this time he’s in the guise of his other comic creation, flamboyantly gay fashion interviewer Bruno.
We’ve previously reported on him attempting to interview Arnold Schwarzenegger and it looks like he’s again sensibly stretching his wings far beyond the world of haute couture, though – as he’s just duped a former Mossad intelligence agency and a Palestinian who thought they were taking part in a discussion of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict with a rocker for a “youth” channel. The Jerusalem Post spoke to the former intelligence agent, Yossi Alpher, who claims he thought something was odd when the interviewer (Cohen) mistook Hamas for Hummus. Still, as a former spy, we expected better!
