Bryan Singer confirms Bishop and Warpath for X-Men: Days of Future Past

Reveals new characters over Twitter

Bryan Singer has posted yet another Twitter update on X-Men: Days Of Future Past, this time revealing a couple of new mutants who will be cropping up in the new film.

Singer posted a Vine video on his feed showing some of the various director's chairs for his mutant cast, and two of said chairs are labelled "Bishop" and "James 'Warpath' Proudstar".

Take a look at the video, below...

Warpath is an Apache Native American with super strength and speed, while Bishop is a time-travelling mutant from a post-apocalyptic future. The latter in particular could have a significant part to play, given the film's time-hopping storyline...

We haven't had absolute confirmation as yet, but we're guessing these are the parts to be played by Booboo Stewart and Omar Sy respectively.

Directed by Singer and co-starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence, X-Men: Days Of Future Past will open in the UK on 18 July 2014.

I'm sure he'll do a great job, and i'm glad that they are being like the comics and having a large roster of characters, but is it going to be too many for a film? Is everyone going to get a decent part to play in proceedings? Hope it doesn't collapse under the weight of its own ambition. Guess we can only wait and see.
