Bryan Singer might not have had the best of luck with Warner Brothers-flavoured superheroes recently, but he’s hoping to have better luck by producing something original.
He’s negotiating to bring Capeshooters, based on Rob Liefeld’s upcoming graphic novel, to the screen. The plot follows two YouTube-happy slackers who spend their time shooting videos of superheroes in action. But their lives take a turn for the troublesome when they discover that one of their subjects is actually evil, and are forced to… you guessed it… go on the run.
Warners has nabbed the rights to the book and JP Lavin and Chad Damiani are about to write the script. The Hollywood Reporter is looking for its camera.
