Bryce Dallas Howard in talks to join Jurassic World

Could be set to co-lead with David Oyelowo

Now that it's got itself a shiny new title, Jurassic World looks set to begin the casting process in earnest, with Bryce Dallas Howard linked to a leading role in the film.

According to The Wrap, Howard has met with director Colin Trevorrow regarding an unspecified role, thought to be the female lead.

Howard had reportedly already met with producers earlier in the process, along with David Oyelowo, who is also rumoured to be taking a significant part.

Plot details remains scarce, although it has been suggested that the storyline will take the audience back to Isla Nublar, where the original park was based.

Directed by Trevorrow, Jurassic World will open in the US on 12 June 2015, with a UK release date yet to be confirmed.

This is tremendous news. She wears flannel shirts and messy hair to a T! The fact that she can act is also good.
