
Al Pacino has signed up to play Gambino family underbosss Neil Dellacroce in Berry Levinson's Gotti.
The film will take on the true story of infamous New York mobster John Gotti, who became head of the Gambino crime family in the '80s.
Dellacroce is an underboss who takes the young John Gotti under his wing, as the ambitious mobster makes a quick, brutal rise to power.
Barry Levinson is rewriting the script and will direct. John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Joe Pesci, and Lindsay Lohan are already on board.
Gotti: Three Generations is set for release in 2012
