Kiefer Sutherland and Kate Bosworth have signed on for indie romancer Fairytale In New York.
Sutherland will play an Irish stand-up comic on a trip to New York, who meets an intriguing American woman. Shenanigans and romance ensue.
The pic will shoot in Northern Ireland and New York later this year, with first-time director Lee Cleary in the directors chair.
Cleary is an experienced Assistant Director with credits such as The Hurt Locker and X-Men: First Class to his name, but this will be his first solo feature.
Sutherland appears in Lars Von Trier's Melancholia, premiering in Cannes next week, and Bosworth is starring in the Straw Dogs remake, due out later this year.
