Carey Mulligan and Keira Knightley’s morose drama Never Let Me Go has had its first trailer released online.
And it’s as gloomy, off-kilter and magnetic as you might expect, considering it was adapted by Alex Garland from a novel by Kazuo Ishiguro.
Directed by One Hour Photo’s Mark Romanek, the stellar cast also includes Sally Hawkins and Andrew Garfield in a plot that follows friends who are brought up in a sheltered boarding school.
Big questions abound as the filmmakers ask: What makes us human? Check the trailer out below…
Never Let Me Go is due out later this year.
