J.J. Abrams has long been thought to be reassembling the old guard for Star Wars: Episode VII, with Carrie Fisher the latest to publicly confirm her involvement.
The star was asked point blank during an interview with Palm Beach Illustrated (yes it’s a thing) whether she would reprise her role as Leia, to which she simply replied, “Yes”.
Now, it should be pointed out that Fisher has ruled herself in once before, only to hastily suggest that her comments were made “tongue in cheek”. This seems a fairly definite reply to a very straightforward question, although she does follow it up with some clearly jokey answers about Leia…
It’s also thought that Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill are in negotiations to rejoin the galaxy far, far away, with the former already reported to have signed on. As ever with Abrams though, we’ve not had much in the way of official confirmation.
If he is trying to get all three to return it may take a while anyway, and judging by Abrams' previous, super-secretive form, we may not even find out for sure before the film arrives in cinemas in 2015.

'Fairly definitive answer'? Suppose it would depend on how she said 'Yes' to that question. I'm sure an actress would have no problem conveying a level of sarcasm in a response.

This sound like sarcasm, but who in hell CARES! She has to return, as Mark and Harrison too. And then, they have to die very very tragical (no kidding) That would be a interesting story for the new saga.
