Looks like Indy has found his lady. Dispelling rumours that Indiana Jones IV will be a reunion of his past female flings, Cate Blanchett has signed on to the movie to star alongside Harrison Ford.
Of course, given the massive veil of secrecy surrounding David Koepp’s script, we don’t yet know exactly what role she’ll be playing, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, she’s definitely the female lead.
Now what we need to lock down is whether Transformers star Shia LaBeouf is definitely joining the movie. We’re getting a little tired of the will-he-won’t-he. Everybody needs to stay quiet until he’s definitely in or out.
For now, what we do know is that Steven Spielberg will be ordering everyone about this June in LA and then in several far-flung locations around the world, with a release date set for May 22 next year around the world.
Everybody breathe easy: Calista Flockhart isn’t starring. Yet.
