Thanks to the Ernest Borgnine original in 1972, you should know the story: humungous wave topples ocean liner on New Year’s Eve, leaving people aboard to fight for the exit doors.

This time around, Gene Hackman and Red Buttons make way for Kurt Russell and Richard Dreyfus and the action is obviously cranked up to eleven.
