Chris Klein as an action star? Not sure we see it ourselves, but he’s agreed to play a washed up former TV hero in Jason Wiles’ pitch black comedy Play Dead.
He’s Ronnie Reno, a man looking for a comeback who gets snowbound in a small Nevada town on his way back from an unsuccessful audition. What he doesn’t realise at first is that it’s run by a frightening gang of drug dealers led by Jake Busey with burly henchbloke Fred Durst. And when he stumbles on the body of an FBI agent, Ronnie realises he’s going to have to take matters into his own hands. Can his TV training turn him into a real-life action hero?
We’re going to guess yes, but let’s wait and see, shall we?
