Fresh from launching himself to stardom with Star Trek, Chris Pine has picked his next job – starring in Unstoppable with Denzel Washington.
Tony Scott is behind the drama, which sees Washington as an experience train engineer trying to stop a runaway train loaded with toxic chemicals.
Now that he’s aboard – pun entirely intended – Pine will play a young conductor who helps out.
Apparently, the film is loosely – and since it’ll be directed by Tony Scott, we’re going to say very loosely – inspired by real events.
It all kicks off shooting in August for a summer release next year.

Denzel and Scott on another train thriller? Chuffed? Or are they out of steam?

Pelham 123 looks rubbish so not really looking forward to another train based drama. I'm also getting a bit bored of the Tony Scott and Denzel Washington partnership, wheres the originality? change it up a bit Tony!
