Christopher Nolan will produce an untitled supernatural thriller for Warner Bros, according to a report by Deadline.
The director had previously only produced movies that he was also directing, until he was made 'godfather' of Zack Snyder's upcoming Superman reboot, Man Of Steel.
According to the report, Nolan's production company, Syncopy, has set up the thriller at WB, and Keith Gordon has been put in charge of writing and directing duties.
Nolan, along with his wife and business partner Emma Thomas, will exec-produce the mystery movie, which is believed to be based on an as-yet-unknown book.
It'll certainly mark a change of pace for Nolan, who hasn't directly tackled the supernatural in his career so far.
Keith Gordon has previously directed Waking The Dead, a drama starring Billy Crudup and Jennifer Connelly, and the movie version of The Singing Detective.
More recently, he has helmed episodes of Dexter and the US remake of The Killing.

I'm reserving an opinion until I see Nolan's producing work on the Superman reboot. Mind you he IS my favourite director, so... *shrug* It's a "we'll see" from me.

They can reboot as much as they like, all the CGI in the world can't match the innocence and wonder of Donners' original
